Resetting OBD1 Codes
The
first rule of engagement when you see the "check engine light" in your
dash panel is to get the code. As soon as you get it, write it down.
Then reset your code by disconnecting the battery negative terminal for
1 minute and reconnect. You can then start the engine and take the
vehicle for a quick road test of say 20-30 minutes. If the same check
engine light shows up again with the same code, then THAT code is the
real culprit that you have to fix.
Notes:
Most
domestic cars and trucks computer (from early 80s to late 90s) can be
reset using the battery disconnection method above (or you can remove
the ecm fuse to reset the code). However, beware of

some imports
because battery disconnection will not work and might require your
vehicle computer reprogrammed by the dealer. Before doing so, please
contact your dealer or you can inquire at

Most
OBD2 codes can also use disconnecting the battery but may interfere
with your accessories. Example: you might need to record your cd or
audio code to reset it.
Most
domestic and imported cars and trucks have its own system to retrieve
the code yourself. Most of these models are made before 1995 for
domestic vehicles and 1993 for imported vehicles. After that, you need
a scanner to retrieve the engine fault code.

Seven Legged Lamb Born In New Zealand...
Here is a pretty crazy photo of a lamb that was born in New Zealand. It was ranked as one of the top most emailed photos on Yahoo. Apparently the lamb was born with seven legs as you can see in the photo. It doesn't look like the lamb is even able to stand up as it has some many legs.
